The label groups them under two headings and prints the total of each - Bloohair Blend 1,110 mg and Men's Hair Vitality Complex 600 mg - and then prints every individual amount underneath, which add up to those totals. A proprietary blend publishes the total and hides the lines; here you get both.

Each 4-capsule serving contains 200 mg of saw palmetto extract, standardised to 45% fatty acids. The amount and the standardisation are both printed on the label and repeated as text on the Supplement Facts page, so you can compare them with any other product before you buy. Standardisation matters because two extracts of the same weight are not the same thing if one is concentrated and the other is not.

The FDA gives no number: its safety communication (2017, updated 2019) says that "sufficient information is not available to know if stopping biotin consumption for any number of hours prior to testing will prevent incorrect test results", and tells patients to tell their physician and the laboratory that they take biotin. The laboratories and societies that do publish a figure, read 6 September 2026: Quest Diagnostics and the AACC guidance advise 8 hours at ordinary multivitamin doses and 72 hours at hair-supplement doses of 5 to 10 mg; the American Thyroid Association advises 2 days before thyroid tests; Cleveland Clinic advises 72 hours and names 3,000 mcg hair supplements. Each serving of BLOOHAIR MEN contains 3,000 mcg of biotin, so we advise pausing it for 72 hours before any blood draw and saying so on the intake form. The finished-product certificate of analysis from the manufacturer's laboratory gives the label claim, the test method and the measured result for each of the 22 active ingredients, plus the microbiology and the heavy metals - including zinc measured at 37.00 mg against a 25.00 mg claim, which is 148% of the claim and 92% of the 40 mg adult upper limit from all sources. We publish that figure because a certificate you only publish when it flatters you is not a published certificate. The allergen report from Contract Testing Laboratories of America, signed 19 December 2025, found gluten below 4 ppm, soy below 0.04 ppm and milk below 0.4 ppm by ELISA; it does not test for fish, because fish is in the formula by design rather than by contamination. The manufacturing facility's NSF/ANSI 455-2 GMP certification is published on the same page, also as text, with its scope and its dates. Corrected 16 September 2026: this answer still described the two laboratory documents as documents the page would list, six days after both of them were published in full. Corrected 20 September 2026: this answer stated that no GMP facility certificate was published; the certification exists and is now transcribed on that page. We think a document you have to request is not a published document.

Not all of them, and we say which. Biotin at 3,000 mcg is 10,000% of the Daily Value: it is the dose the hair category standardised on, not a dose established by research, and the NIH describes the evidence for biotin on hair as limited to a few case reports and small studies. Hydrolyzed marine collagen at 250 mg is ten to forty times below the 2.5 to 10 g per day used in published collagen peptide trials; it is here as a structural protein alongside keratin, not as a collagen powder. Saw palmetto at 200 mg standardised to 45% fatty acids and ashwagandha at 100 mg standardised to 5% withanolides sit within or near the ranges used in published work on those extracts. No controlled trial has tested this finished formula. Corrected 10 September 2026: this answer previously gave collagen as 500 mg and ashwagandha as 150 mg. The printed label and the certificate of analysis for lot 0125269 both say 250 mg and 100 mg, so the gap between our collagen dose and the trial doses is twice as wide as we had written.

It can. Each serving contains 3,000 mcg (3 mg) of biotin. The FDA has published a safety communication on biotin interfering with certain laboratory tests, including troponin, thyroid and vitamin D assays. Tell your physician and the laboratory that you take this product before any blood work, and never stop a prescribed medication over anything you read on a supplement page.

The best available evidence says no. Corrected 7 September 2026: until that date this answer said that saw palmetto may lower PSA values and mask a change during prostate screening; we could not find a primary source for it, and the trials say otherwise. In the CAMUS randomised, placebo-controlled trial (369 men over 45, saw palmetto extract escalated from 320 mg to 960 mg a day over 72 weeks), the mean change in serum PSA was 0.23 ng/mL with saw palmetto and 0.16 ng/mL with placebo (p = 0.50): "saw palmetto extract does not affect serum prostate specific antigen more than placebo, even at relatively high doses" (Andriole et al., J Urol 2013;189:486-492). The STEP trial (225 men, 320 mg a day for one year) found no difference in PSA either (Bent et al., N Engl J Med 2006;354:557-566), and the NIH's NCCIH states that saw palmetto "does not appear to affect readings of prostate-specific antigen (PSA) levels, even when taken in higher-than-usual amounts" (page updated April 2025; all read 7 September 2026). BLOOHAIR MEN carries 200 mg per serving, below every dose in those trials. What still applies: list every supplement you take to your doctor before a PSA test - the drug finasteride does lower PSA, and a physician needs the full list. Yes. Each serving contains 250 mg of hydrolyzed marine collagen, a fish-derived ingredient, and we declare it in plain words rather than leaving you to infer it from the word "marine". Fish is a major allergen under US law. The bottle does not declare it: the printed panel reads "Hydrolyzed Marine Collagen" and carries no "Contains" statement, read on the label approved for print on 5 May 2026 and confirmed against a physical bottle on 15 September 2026. The declaration you can read is the one on this site. The formula is gluten free, soy free and dairy free, and that is measured rather than asserted: on lot 0125269 an independent laboratory found gluten below 4 ppm, soy below 0.04 ppm and milk below 0.4 ppm by ELISA. The capsule shell is cellulose, so the product contains no gelatin.

No controlled trial has tested this formula, so we do not use those words, and none is currently commissioned. Individual ingredients have published research at various doses, and the Supplement Facts page says where our doses sit against that research - including the two places where our dose is below the published one.
